Discover the Arts with the Summer Arts Program 2025
The Village of Westbury Recreation Department is once again hosting its beloved Summer Arts Program, designed for children ages 6–12 who love to explore creativity through art, music, dance, and more. In partnership with Westbury Arts, the program runs weekdays from July 7 to August 15 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
It also includes two additional hours of optional recreational time from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Participants will enjoy hands-on activities that encourage self-expression and personal growth. The program concludes with a public exhibit where students proudly share their creations. It’s an excellent opportunity to build confidence and community. Village residents can enroll for $125, while non-residents may join for $200.
Ongoing Recreation Programs for All Ages
Westbury offers a wide range of recreational classes and clubs throughout the year that promote wellness, fitness, and social connection. Whether you're looking to pick up a new hobby or stay physically active, there's something to suit your interests:
- Bocce (ages 18+) with annual sessions running from September through August
- Karate for youth and adults on Mondays and Wednesdays
- Table Tennis Club (adults) on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 9:30 PM
- Yoga (adults) on Mondays from 6:00 to 7:15 PM
- Boxing Club (all ages) at the M. Phipps Sports Center
